We are pleased to share the exciting news that Professor Lishan Ran has been awarded both the Collaborative Research Project Grant under the Collaborative Research Fund (CRF) for 2024/25 and the Lasting Impact Fund – Young Scholar Scheme for 2023/24. These prestigious recognitions highlight his exceptional contributions to research and his innovative approach to addressing critical environmental issues.


His CRF-funded project, "Carbon Emissions from China’s Inland Waters and Coastal Ecosystems under Global Change," emphasizes the significant impact of his research on our understanding of global environmental change. Additionally, his Lasting Impact Fund project, "Aquatic Carbon Cycling and Greenhouse Gas Emission Dynamics in Aquaculture Ponds in the Greater Bay Area," showcases his commitment to advancing knowledge in this crucial area.
