The China Development Studies Scholarship

The China Development Studies Scholarship is open to application for all non-local full-time students as an encouragement to support their MAChDS study, and is awarded to a maximum of two students based on their performance in the first semester of the MAChDS study and proof of financial needs. The value of the Scholarship is HK$20,000.00 per awardee (deducted directly from the second instalment of the composition fee).

Van Shung Chong Prize in China Development Studies

The Van Shung Chong Prize in China Development Studies is awarded to a maximum of two students based on their academic performance of the whole MAChDS study. The value of the Prize is HK$5,000.00 per awardee.

Transport Policy and Planning Scholarship

The Transport Policy and Planning Scholarship is set up in 2009-2010 as an encouragement to support good quality local and/or overseas students to undertake the Master of Arts in Transport Policy and Planning (MATPP) programme. The Scholarship is open to application for all MATPP full-time candidates who have achieved First Class Honours or equivalent in his/her undergraduate studies and/or Distinction in his/her master studies. The judging panel will select the awardee(s) based on the information on the application forms of the candidates. Awardee(s) will be notified by the University in the first semester of their first year of study.

Transport Policy and Planning Dissertation Prize

The “Transport Policy and Planning Dissertation Prize” is awarded to one student who received the highest marks among the grade A dissertations in that academic year.

Transport Policy and Planning Graduate Award

The “Transport Policy and Planning Graduate Award” is awarded to one graduate who has completed all the requirements and obtained Distinction in his/her studies in that academic year.

Geospatial Data Sciences Scholarship

The Geospatial Data Sciences Scholarship is open to application for all full-time students as an encouragement to support their GeoDS study and is awarded to a maximum of two students based on their performance in the first semester of the GeoDS study and proof of financial needs. The value of the Scholarship is HK$20,000.00 per awardee (deducted directly from the second instalment of the composition fee).

Geospatial Data Sciences Outstanding Graduate Award

The “Geospatial Data Sciences Outstanding Graduate Award” is awarded to outstanding graduates who has completed all the requirements and obtained a Distinction in his/her studies in that academic year.

Geospatial Data Sciences Dissertation Award

The “Geospatial Data Sciences Dissertation Award” is awarded to one student who received the highest mark among the grade A dissertations in that academic year.
