Mr. CHANG Man Hei Jeffrey has been awarded the University’s Research Postgraduate Student Innovation Awards

Our PhD candidate, Mr. CHANG Man Hei Jeffrey (Primary Supervisor: Dr. Nicky Lam), has been awarded the University’s Research Postgraduate Student Innovation Awards over the competitive pool of research proposal submission from RPG students in nine HKU faculties. A research grant of HK$50,000 is awarded to Mr. Chang as the Principal Investigator for his project entitled: “Assessing hotspots at local school communities with low-cost IoT devices and FLIR unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) observations”.

Mr. Chang has also been awarded the 3rd place of the inaugural ENVI-met UNI LAB Award with Dr. Lam’s GRF project. The award was created by ENVI-met GmbH group, the producer of the first holistic software for the numerical analysis of 3D urban microclimate models. Congratulations!
