Vinci Ying Jia Cheung, a PhD candidate supervised by Prof G.C.S. Lin, has been awarded the 2024 HKAUW Kunpeng Postgraduate Scholarship, granted by the Hong Kong Association of University Women (HKAUW).

The HKAUW Kunpeng Postgraduate Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship that recognizes female postgraduate students who conduct high-quality original research that significantly contributes to society and the body of knowledge. This scholarship, awarded through a rigorous selection process, honours candidates who excel academically while demonstrating strong leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, commitment to community service, and notable achievements in their fields.

The HKAUW 2024-2025 Annual Business Meeting and Scholarship Presentation Ceremony took place at the City University of Hong Kong on March 29, 2025. Vinci reflected on the event, stating, “It was an unforgettable experience to connect with so many brilliant and inspiring ladies who are making significant strides in their fields and demonstrating exceptional dedication to their work.”
