Congratulations to the following four Geography undergraduate students (in alphabetical order of surname) for being accepted to participate in the Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme (URFP) 2023-2024:
Mr. CHEUNG Tsz Wun on “An GIS approach towards the potential area for developing cycling facilities” under the supervision of Dr Yongsung Lee.
Miss FUNG Hoi Wing on “Exploring gentrification and cultural change: a study of neighbourhood changes in Kennedy Town” under the supervision of Dr. Ben Gerlofs. She is also a recipient of an internship award of HK$10,000.
Miss LIAO Xiaochang on “Understanding the urban dynamics of gentrification In Hong Kong – a case study of evolving urban landscapes and social life in gentrifying Sai Ying Pun” under the supervision of Dr. Ben Gerlofs. She is also a recipient of an internship award of HK$10,000.
Miss LIN Ruiya on “ Evaluate the interchange experience between multiple metros lines: A case study of Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui stations in Hong Kong” under the supervision of Professor Becky Loo. Please join us in celebrating the hard work of our Geography students.
