Tim Searchinger is a Senior Research Scholar at Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, and a Senior Fellow at the World Resources Institute, serving as Technical Director for Agriculture, Forestry, and Ecosystem. His interdisciplinary work spans science and public policy, integrating ecology, agronomy, law, and economics. His publications in Science and Nature address critical topics such as bioenergy, nitrogen pollution, and the greenhouse implications of agriculture and land use change. He was the lead author of the 2019 report Creating a Sustainable Food Future, published by the World Resources Institute, World Bank, and United Nations.
