HKU GEOGRAPHY: Monthly Research Talks

Tracing carbon from land to ocean

Date: 15 DEC 2023 (Friday)

Time: 15:00-15:15 (HKT)

(No registration required)

Abstract:

Peatlands in Southeast Asia are large organic carbon reservoirs, they are also losing organic carbon into rivers and the ocean. In this talk, I will show you how we combine field work and experiments to study the fate and environmental impacts of this organic carbon from land to the ocean.
