The JC STEM Lab of Quantitative Remote Sensing is one of the five newly established JC STEM Labs and is led by Professor Shunlin Liang from the Department of Geography. This new JC STEM Lab, located on the 8th floor of the Jockey Club Tower, is dedicated to exploring the intricate interactions between land and social systems. It aims to develop advanced methodologies for estimating various variables of the Earth system from satellite data, with the ultimate goal of addressing pressing global environmental and social-economical issues and promoting sustainable development.
