International Medical Geography Symposium at Atlanta

Our esteemed faculty members, Professor Yanjia Cao, Professor Keumseok Koh, and our PhD student, Mr. TANG Ka Chung Ken, recently attended the prestigious International Medical Geography Symposium (IMGS) held in Atlanta, US. The conference featured a wide range of interdisciplinary research presentations, bringing together scholars and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in medical geography. Professors Cao and Koh served as session chairs for the COVID-19 research segment, contributing their expertise to this critical area of study. Additionally, Professor Cao participated as a panel member in the JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) discussion, further emphasizing our department's commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
