2022-23: GEOG3204 - Shing Mun Reservoir

The instructor of GEOG3204 Urban Hydrology and Water Quality, Professor Kin Chung Ho (our honourary professor as well) led a field trip to Shing Mun Reservoir on 7 March 2023 (Tuesday). During the trip, students learned how to measure and monitor water quality in the Shing Mun River. Also, students learned the operations and functions of Shing Mun Reservoir and Shing Mun River. Last but not least, water management is introduced for discussion of effective governance of the watercourse.
