The Department of Geography at HKU is proud to announce its outstanding performance in the 2026 ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS):
Geography: Ranked 6th worldwide (advanced from 14th in 2025). It is the only discipline at HKU to achieve a top-10 global ranking this year.
Remote Sensing: Ranked 14th worldwide, maintaining a highly competitive international presence.
