In memory of Dr C.N. Ng, former Associate Professor of the Department of Geography who passed away in December 2019, the Department established the C.N. Ng Memorial Prize in Environmental Sustainability in memory of Dr Ng’s enthusiasm for environmental studies and his belief in its importance in the geographical curriculum with donations from families, friends and former students of the late Dr Ng.
