Scholarships

Geography majors are eligible for the following departmental-based Scholarships:

(1)	Hui Yin Hing Scholarship The Scholarship shall be awarded to a final year Geography major who has taken a minimum of 48 credits of geography courses and has achieved the best results in Geology I and/or related physical geography courses in the Second Year Final Examinations and the Third Year first semester academic results.
(2)	The Royal Geographical Society – Hong Kong Scholarship Only available to Geography majors pursuing ‘GEOG3009 Honours Dissertation’. The scholarship shall be used to support dissertation work relating to Hong Kong, preferably of an applied nature.
(3)	The 1973 Geography Graduates Scholarship The scholarship shall be awarded annually to 1-2 Geography Majors, who must have taken at least 4 geography courses (each with 6-credits weighting) in the penultimate year of study, on the basis of the overall results of their geography courses attained in that academic year.
